During ESGURS21, the “Exhibition booths relating to prescription-only medicines” are only accessible to certified healthcare professionals, qualified to prescribe medicines, and pharmacists. Based on information provided by the registering party, a “P” will be printed on the meeting badges when the bearer has accreditation to access the “Exhibition Booths related to prescription-only medicines.” It is the responsibility of the registering party to provide correct information and the EAU holds no responsibility with regards to the information provided. This measure is in accordance with the national and international pharmaceutical guidelines.

Access to the Session Rooms

Only meeting delegates, with a valid badge, have access to session rooms. Seating is regulated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend delegates to go to the session rooms well in advance. Due to safety regulations, the organisers will close the session room when all seats are taken. It is not allowed to stand in the aisles of the rooms. The local Covid-19 measures have been taken into account when setting up the session rooms.

Certificate of attendance

A Certificate of Attendance for the 12th Meeting of the EAU Section of Genito-Urinary Reconstructive Surgeons (ESGURS) will be available at www.esgurs.org after the meeting. To obtain your certificate, you need to login with the number under the barcode on your badge (type number without the asterisk *), and complete the evaluation questionnaire. It is important to retain the delegate badge for this purpose.


Cloakroom/Luggage

A cloakroom is available and is at participants’ disposal during meeting hours. Please be sure to collect all personal belongings at the end of the day.


CME accreditation

An application for EACCME accreditation will be made, more information will be available soon.


Disclosure Request

At the beginning of their presentation(s) faculty is requested to disclose to the audience any links with the industry related to the topic of their lecture. A link can be: being a member of the advisory board or having a consulting agreement with a specific company.


EAU policy on Live Surgery

The EAU established an official policy on Live Surgery Events, offering organising centres a clear framework within which to plan and perform live surgeries. It outlines a set of guidelines in which the overriding principle is that patient safety must take priority over all other considerations in the conduct of live surgery.


Electricity

Electricity supply in Madrid is 220 Volts and the connection is made by a two-pin plug.

Please be aware that delegates from the USA will require a voltage converter. Delegates from the United Kingdom will require a plug adapter.

Exhibition

An exhibition will be organised jointly with the meeting. For more information please contact the EAU sales department via sales@uroweb.org.


Guests and Children

In compliance with the Pharma Codes, it is not allowed for you to register accompanying guests (including children). Any guests you may have are not allowed to access this meeting. In addition, the EAU is unfortunately unable to offer children’s day-care facilities at its events.

If you have any special requirements due to impaired mobility, medical needs or due to the fact you are nursing please let the organisation know in advance.


Insurance

The organisers do not accept responsibility for any personal damage. Participants are strongly recommended to arrange their own personal insurance.


Language

The meeting will be conducted in English, there will be no translation provided.


Lost and Found

Found items should be returned to the registration desk. If you lose something, please report to this desk for assistance.


Mobile Phones

During all sessions, please switch your phone to silent and turn off your flash when taking pictures.


No-Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed throughout the entire venue, including all exhibition areas, session rooms, registration and catering areas. All participants are kindly requested to respect the no-smoking policy, which also applies to e-cigarettes.


Registrations

All registrations should be made through the online registration system. Registrations will be possible soon.


Safety

All bags may be subject to inspection. Security is present for your safety. Please take all personal effects with you when leaving the session rooms.
